ICSI treatment, or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection , is an advanced assisted reproductive technique used to treat infertility, especially cases related to male factors. It is a specialized form of IVF where a single healthy sperm is directly injected into a mature egg to achieve fertilization under controlled laboratory conditions. How ICSI Treatment is Performed The ICSI process begins with ovarian stimulation to produce multiple eggs. These eggs are collected and examined for maturity. A sperm sample is then prepared, and one healthy sperm is carefully selected. Using advanced microscopic equipment, the sperm is injected directly into the egg.
